Cortexia provides online AI development education through three structured course tracks. Each course includes written learning materials, guided exercises, project briefs, feedback from the teaching team, and access to an online learner forum. Higher tracks include additional features such as live review sessions and one-to-one mentor sessions.
3.1 Availability
The Service is available online and is primarily intended for learners based in Thailand and Southeast Asia, though it is accessible globally. We make reasonable efforts to keep the platform available but do not warrant uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
3.2 Language
All course materials, feedback, and support communications are provided in English.
4. User Accounts
4.1 Registration
Access to course materials requires an active account. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information and keeping it up to date.
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Termination for breach will not entitle you to a refund.
5. User Responsibilities
When using the Service and participating in the forum and course activities, you agree not to:
- Share your course login credentials or provide access to enrolled materials to any person not enrolled in that course.
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display course content without written permission from Cortexia.
- Submit work for review that was written entirely by a third party or AI tool without disclosure.
- Post content in the forum that is offensive, defamatory, or irrelevant to the learning context.
- Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the platform, other learners' access, or the teaching team's ability to deliver the course.
- Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful under Thai law or the laws of your country of residence.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Cortexia Content
All course materials, lesson content, project briefs, code examples, visual assets, and platform design are the intellectual property of Cortexia and are protected under Thai copyright law and applicable international treaties. No part of the Content may be reproduced, published, or distributed without prior written consent.
6.2 Your Licence
Upon enrolment, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the course materials for your own learning during the enrolment period. This licence does not permit redistribution or commercial use.
6.3 Your Submitted Work
You retain ownership of project work you submit for review. By submitting work, you grant Cortexia a non-exclusive licence to use anonymised excerpts for curriculum improvement and illustrative purposes, without identifying you personally.
7. Payment Terms
7.1 Pricing
Course prices are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Current prices are: Python for AI Starter Course — ฿3,900; Data & Modelling Track — ฿15,500; Deep Learning Capstone Programme — ฿33,000.
7.2 Payment
Full payment is required to secure enrolment. Payment is processed through a third-party payment provider. We do not store card details. Enrolment is confirmed once payment is received and verified.
7.3 Refund Policy
Requests for a refund submitted within 7 days of enrolment and before accessing more than 20% of the course content will be considered on a case-by-case basis. After this period, or after substantial course access, refunds are not available. Contact [email protected] with any payment queries.
7.4 Payment Arrangements
We may, at our discretion, agree to alternative payment arrangements. Any such arrangement must be agreed in writing before enrolment is confirmed.
8. Course-Specific Terms
8.1 Enrolment and Access
Course access begins on the confirmed start date. Access to course materials is available for the duration of the course plus a 4-week review window after the scheduled end date. Extended access is not available as a standard arrangement.
8.2 Prerequisites
Each course states its prerequisites. Cortexia is not responsible if a learner enrols in a course for which they lack the stated prerequisite skills and subsequently finds the material too advanced. We encourage prospective learners to contact us before enrolment if they are unsure whether a course is appropriate for their level.
8.3 Feedback and Reviews
Project feedback is provided within the timeframes stated on the course description. Delays caused by force majeure or exceptional circumstances will be communicated promptly.
8.4 Live Sessions (Data Track and Capstone)
Live review sessions are scheduled in advance and recorded where technically possible. Missing a live session does not entitle you to a refund or rescheduled individual session unless agreed separately.
8.5 Academic Integrity
Project work submitted for feedback should represent your own work. You may use AI tools as part of your learning process, but we ask that you disclose this in your submission so feedback can address how you used the tool and what you understood from the output.
8.6 No Certificate
Cortexia does not currently issue formal certificates or credentials. Completion of a course is noted in your account record. The portfolio work produced during a course is the primary evidence of learning.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. Cortexia makes no representations about the outcomes that any individual learner will achieve. Results depend on individual effort, prior knowledge, and application of skills outside the course environment. Nothing in our marketing materials or course descriptions constitutes a promise of employment, income, or professional qualification.
Course content reflects the knowledge and practices of the teaching team at the time of creation and periodic review. AI development is a rapidly changing field. We update content regularly but cannot warrant that all material reflects the very latest industry developments at any given moment.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Thai law, Cortexia's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for the course in question.
Cortexia shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses including lost income, lost data, or damage to equipment arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Force Majeure: Cortexia is not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, civil unrest, internet infrastructure failures, or government action.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cortexia, its team members, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of the Service in an unauthorised manner, or any content you post or submit that infringes third-party rights.
12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may stop using the Service at any time. Refund eligibility is governed by Section 7.3.
12.2 By Cortexia
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, engage in conduct that disrupts other learners, or fail to make agreed payments. We will endeavour to notify you before termination except where immediate action is necessary.
12.3 Effect of Termination
On termination, your licence to access course materials ceases. Sections covering intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
If you have a dispute with Cortexia, please contact us at [email protected] first. We commit to responding within 10 working days and attempting to resolve the matter informally.
13.2 Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, including the Civil and Commercial Code and relevant consumer protection legislation. The courts of Bangkok shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes not resolved informally.
13.3 Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Thai Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 or related statutes.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: this Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Cortexia regarding the Service and supersedes prior communications on the same subject.
- Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- Waiver: failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: you may not assign your rights under this Agreement without our written consent. We may assign our rights as part of a business transfer.
- Notices: formal notices should be sent by email to [email protected] or in writing to our Bangkok address.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our courses, legal requirements, or business practices. Material changes will be communicated by email to enrolled learners and by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
